Photographer and Software Engineer Ljubomir Trajkovski – Bube, who is based in Leipzig, is an explorer of analog mediums and boasts a stunning collection of images dating back to 2020. Most of his work is shot on various cameras and formats, including both 35mm and 120mm film, as he delves into the quiet, often overlooked details of daily life.
Bube chats with Pioneri about his culture-infused life in Germany, the morning walks with his dog, and his favorite Sunday Book.
Where do we find you this weekend?
Usually, when the weather treats us well, I’m out for a walk with my doggo by my side and a camera strapped around my shoulder. If not, then it’s always a cozy and chill music session at my place, alongside a good cuppa coffee or tea and the book of choice for the week (which currently happens to be The Child in You).
Walk the dog or downward dog?
Fun fact, whenever i do a downward dog, my doggo does it with me the moment he sees me. But to this question I’d just say – Why not both?
What’s for breakfast?
I tend to skip breakfast most of the time ( I know, unpopular opinion for many), but my first meal at around 11-12 is pretty much always a smoothie that i make with a big variety of things I have at home.
A Sunday soundtrack?
Can’t really pick one song as a soundtrack, as i mostly listen to a looot of different music and genres throughout the day… but, if i were to pick some genres that were the highlight of my day today, it would be some psychedelic jazz and funk, trip hop with a pinch of dub.
A Sunday must for cultural life?
Most of the times you can either find me at a gig somewhere in Leipzig, or perhaps at the Sunday flea markets or even at the drawing sessions. Otherwise, I’m most likely in Berlin visiting my closest people, indulging in some good food, visiting a gallery or attending a concert (as there is never enough of that).
What’s on the menu?
As I myself love cooking (can safely say that it’s my second favorite hobby), same as with music, it depends on the mood of that particular day. Today’s recipe is Vegan Mushroom Bourguignon. Highly recommend this hearty recipe for the cold winter days.
