Marija Jakjovska
A printmaker who also explores the field of contemporary art through sculpture and photography.
The themes in her recent works are comic-style intaglio prints, usually depicting stars, hearts and moons. Marija combines these shapes manifested in a somewhat childlike drawing, with a high-contrast appearance, that creates a slightly somber atmosphere.
